Are you ready for the next chapter in the YTU (Yellowstone Televisual Universe)? It’s time to get excited, because the most-watched scripted series of 2023, Yellowstone, may be getting a franchise extension starring Matthew McConaughey.
It’s no secret that the show’s star, Kevin Costner, has been refusing to film the second half of the current season. While sources say this is the cause of the show’s potential demise, Paramount Network is reportedly planning a spinoff series featuring McConaughey.
The spinoff is said to be just one of the many entries in the YTU, which already includes 1883, starring Tim McGraw and Faith Hill, and 1923, starring Helen Mirren and Harrison Ford. With its star refusing to film, it seems that Yellowstone is determined to live on in some form or another.
The spinoff series is sure to be packed with star power, and it’s the perfect way to keep the beloved show alive. We can only hope that Paramount Network will make the right decision and give us the Yellowstone we all know and love with McConaughey at the helm.
Stay tuned for more information on the future of Yellowstone and the YTU. In the meantime, you can keep up with the show by watching the current season on Paramount Network.
